Whoever says McDonald's is an evil corporation is full of shit. They gave me two free apple pies on Sunday.
Here's the story.
So I'm eating the second of my delicious, crispy yet gooey (and remember the best part -- free) McDonald's apple pies on the beach when the wind suddenly picks up. I'm looking behind me and see at large, white tent. It's going up and down for some reason, that's funny. Except it wan't just going up and down. It was was headed toward the ocean with a target on my face.
A big fucking tent. My face.
I tell my wife watch out. She gets up and watches. I think about getting up, but I got an apple pie in my hand. Fuck that. So what do I decide to do?
I decide to stiff arm a beach tent coming at my at 15 miles per hour. Luckily it was a LaDanian Tomlinson style stiff arm, so it was pretty amazing. The tent foolishly ran into my perfect LT stiffarm, wobbled over my head, and ended up in the ocean. And to cut a short story even shorter, the apple pie ended up in my stomach.
The Moral: Victory tastes like cinnamon.
